Keep the Christmas Meal Simple

Something that I notice happens every year at christmas is an abundance of food left over after the christmas day meal. It seems no matter how many people are there for the meal, there always seems to be too much of a spread and ultimately too much left over. It may not seem like a real problem, however why is it that we need such a large spread if it is not really needed. A simple solution that I have decided upon is to put on a smaller yet better quality christmas meal. There is no need for three or four average quality meats when you can have one or two of great quality. Likewise when it comes to dessert, one large rich dessert is often enough, especially when people are full up from the meal themselves.
This year has been a bad one financially for many people, which means some changes really should be made when it comes to christmas spending. The meal is where a lot of the money can be spent so take a leaf from my book and Keep the Christmas Meal Simple.
